Its the start of Easter Holidays!!!

Wow!! Finally thursday! Good Friday is the day that I have been waiting for since the last public holiday haha. Well, of cos that's not the sole reason la. Good Fiday and Easter day means alot to 'ON FIRE' Christians ya? haha. Ok, enough. I am so excited to see the time clock 5.45pm!!! ahah.

Besides working hard at those outreaching prospects, tomorrow I will be taking a good rest. haha. A real good rest. I have not been sleeping well recently. Lots of dreams that occupied most of my sleeping time!! Thats bad. So, pls dun disturb me tomorrow morning. But well, my HP is on 24/7/365, so if there is anything super urgent, rest assured that I will still answer your call. haha.

Yesterday, I met Su Hui (Sec Sch Fren) for dinner last night. Well, she just got back her A's and result was a pass at least. She did not disclose her grades to me anyway. haha. So currently she have been working with CPF Board as a part timer. Wow, life really changed. She only worked for almost 3 months, but her nowadays "friends" are her colleagues. The very main reason was that, they were of the same age. Well, my colleagues are like 30s - 50s. They are bascially parents, so of cos, going out with them isn't an option!! Anyway, she became busy after work going out with her "friends", and i became the 2nd priority. haha. Anyway, I had a hard time trying to get her, but still we meet up. haha. Chatting topics never fails to include, wow, the "good" old days and GUYS of cos. haha. We came from an ALL GIRLS SCH for 10 good years remeber? haha. I realised, my english is getting bad to worse. I am mumbling when I am speaking and those bombastic words that I use in the past seems to have forgotten me. So, we spoke chinese and singlish. I felt a bit weird meeting her actually, probably because my comfort zone is in church. Inferiority complex strike across my mind. That shouldn't be the case! But, still, Satan always used my peers to bring me down. I know and I will find breakthrough in this. So, do pray for me ya? haha. The bad thing is that she hasn't know our Savior, but she couldn't make it for Sat's event. So, next time then.

Another 35 mins to my knock off time and 2 more days to Easter! So, hurry and convince ur friends for Service!!!

FASTING!!!

Today marks the second day of Fasting, wow. Another 1 hr to breaking fast. Tell you what, it has not been easy battling with the stomach rumbling and saying NO! to food. Well, all these are for the sake of our Easter Celebration this Sat. We are praying and fasting for the sake of LOST SOULS!!! So, let's work hard to see this coming true.

“A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven.” (John 3:27)

This verse was preached to me twice in the same week. I believe God is speaking to me tremedously. Probably all these while I have been trying to attain something by my own effort. As what God said, you will receive nothing unless it is given by your beloved God. Time that I really think through what I have been trying to achieve by my own efforts. And time to divert the focus back to God. haha.

Back to Easter Day, just wanna take this opportunity to thank our members who are involved in the Easter Day preparation and performance. You guys are great. God will bless you according to your sacrifice. haha. This year drama will be good. haha. Many famous actors and actresses, so stay tuned. haha.

Easter Day is coming!!!

Is anybody working hard in inviting their friends this Easter? haha. Well, I did. Last night, I looked through my HP contacts, and one by one, I massaged them to invite them for this Easter. To be honest, I have never done this before, as I thought nobody would care about such message. But, last night, I just felt an urge to do so. There was an urgency to invite as many ppl as possible as who knows when is the second coming of Jesus? haha. And, our church needs growth desperately. We want more souls to be SAVED!!! As what Pastor had preached on 8/3 Service, the way to outreach. I wanna to be part of the team in outreaching in Christ. I pray that when I am in Heaven, ppl will be coming to me and thank me for bringing them to know Jesus Christ!! Haha. That will be very encouraging and satisfying to me at the end of the day.

Ok, continue my story, so I did what the Holy Spirit said. I massaged my secondary school friends, backsliders. ALL. Basically all in my contacts, and thanks to my wonderful faithful God, though many replied that they cannot attend, and many ignored my invitation, but there were these 2 ppl that said, probably ICAN can make it!!! That's what warms my heart last night. haha. Out of the 2, one is my secondary school friend, and the other is a backslider. Wow! Praise God! haha.

What can make you any happier than seeing ppl responding to the invitation of Jesus Christ? And moreover, Easter Day is the day whereas our Almighty God resurrected from the dead!!! By this, we know that we serve a LIVING GOD! Amen? How can I described my JOY to you? haha. If you want to feel what I felt, then hurry and extend your invitations to more people!! haha.

DISASTER!!!

Guess what has broken? Its my Charles and Keith silver sandles' strap!!! I think I bought it 3-4 months back, together with Perisa. And I have been wearing it like almost daily. 1 or 2 weeks back, Perisa threw away her sandles as the sole opened. And mine was like ready to be thrown anytime. So, Perisa was like pestering me to throw throw throw, but I insisted to wear until it is spoilt. When I called back and told her what happened, she was there saying,"see la, I told you to throw already right?"

This morning, before I left home, I told myself that today will be the last day that I will be wearing it, and I will throw away as soon as I reach home. But, God knows that, this will never come true. And indeed, upon reaching the AMK Mrt Station, something snapped!!!!! At the split second. I was like saying "OH NO"!!! Guess what, going home to change wasn't an option at all, as I will be late for work. Taking leave wasn't an option either as both my colleagues were on leave, and also I have no more leave left. So, I dragged my feet to work, creating lots of attention seeking noise across the ground. Many looked at me as if I am the most wanted "MASELAMAT"! That was so irritating. Upon reaching Paya Lebar Mrt, I took the lift down instead of the stairs, to save time and prevent myself from blocking other office workers. And I thought, it will be a disaster when I cross the traffic light, will I be able to cross within the time limit? But Thank God, I made it even before the no. reflected. Yeah, finally reached my office and clocked in the time at 8.45am. Just on time! Phew!

I hurried putting on rubber bands, stapled and scotch tapes on all the necessary parts. I tried going down to the building to search for slippers but nobody is selling it! Thus, I endured the whole day with a self repaired sandle. Cant wait to see Perisa and change into my comfortable slippers! Wow. what a day! :)

But however, thank God that my of my colleague from the other dept gave me a treat at the delifrance. haha. I had tuna croissant set meal. Not very filling though. haha. Will settle for more for dinner tonight. haha.

Ok, 11 mins more to go before the clock strikes 5.45pm. haha. Time to go and do some touch up on my sandle before my rubber bands breaks. CYA!

Back to blogging...

Hello guys, finally back to blogging. haha. Recently, I have lost the momemtum to blog. haha. Many of you are not updating your blogs either. Is everyone busy with their work or studies? haha. I am not busy at all. I hope I can do something constructive or meaningful. If not, year 2008 will most probably be the most unfruitful year in my life. haha.

The last post, I talked abt my driving Practical. Just for your info, I failed my first attempt. That was a very valuable and memorable experience. Have you ever tried having 2 testers in your cars while others have only 1? That was heng? or suay? However, my mum perceived it as super "heng". If you are curious why I have 2, I think the reason is because the other tester's student did not come. Thus, he joined us. Anyway, only through the whole process that I realised all the while I have been doing a very wrong thing. That is my braking techinique. Correct way, Brake, Clutch, Brake. And I invented my own technique, Clutch & Brake. Goodness right? What else contributes to my failing? I hit onto a kerb, roll back on a slope for 3 times, move on with the wrong gear and etc. Tell you wat, tears already welled up my eyes, when the tester told me my faults while I was driving. And, Tears rolled down my rosy cheeks straight away when the tester started speaking during the briefing. And conclusion, I accumulated a total of 38 points, when 20 & below is the passing mark. And of cos, I went to the toilet and continue my crying. haha. But well, it will not be wasted as long as you know where you are at fault and learn from it.

After calming down myself, I went to the customer service and took another testing date. haha. That will be 2 months later, which is in May. Pray hard that I will be able to share good news with all you guys. Although I will have to spend another $500, but I believe everything happens for a reason!

Ok, should talk about something else. haha. Today is our Badminton Challenge!! Heard from Cell 01 that the ppl that are coming from their side is overwelming!!! 10 & more!! Wow. 10 claps for you guys. Continue to work hard for Salvation. Indeed this phrase is true, you reap what you sow! haha. I have never really played badminton in my life b4. I am total ignorant abt this sport. But still, I have to love it for God's sake. haha. I shall be the point scorer for tonight. haha. If I ever play, pls dun be happy if you win me. haha.

Looking forward to tonight's event. haha. 65mins to knocking off. BYE...

Praying Hard...

As what my title has says it all. Yeah , I am praying hard for the job interview with DFS. haha. I feel the interview did not turn out to be fantasic, as I felt that they doubted my abilities and level of committment. Well, what's next. All I can do is to pray about this position. This Job Interview came out of a sudden which causes so many coincidence. I choose to believe it has something to do with my God who has all these planned. So, it is now a test of FAITH!

Today is the first day of work for the month of March. But can you imagine, I have been sitting at my desk the whole day without evening doing anything? Haiz. I am really slacking with nothing to do. Alamak. Today's system is down for updates, thus I cannot help my customer on her enquiry. But even if the system is up, I will still say, I HAVE NOTHING TO DO!! Cant stand myself for being so slacken. Every action seems to be much heavier than the past. Nowadays, I dragged my feet to work. I don't feel happy nor motivated. All that was in my mind was that, when can I get out of this SLACKING PLACE!!! I really pray that God will really give me a miracle.

Ok next, my sore throat is killing me. It is painful even when I am swallowing my saliva!! Can you believe that? Am I really heaty? I don't remember eating heaty stuff le. haha. Well, still I ate 8 strepsils lozenges already! That's alot right. The instruction given was to only take one every 2-3 hours. But I take like one in an hour. haha. But with that dosage, it does not lessen the pain!!! I drank almost 2 litres of water!!! to smooth the throat. Phew...

Why do I get sick at such an odd hour!! This week is an excitment week. I will sitting for my Driving Practical Test this thursday!! I am 80% full of confidence actually. haha. I pray for focus and calmness on that day itself. Whatever I have to know, I already knew. All I need is God's guidance and reminders over me. haha. I will be able to know the result on the spot. PASS PASS PASS is what I only wanna hear. haha. And also, I should be able to know whether my interview gets through this week. So Pray Pray Pray for me people!! haha. My blessings will over flow because I serve a God of more than enough! Amen!
