Enjoying Life with YOU is all I ask for...

Hi people!!! Isn't these pictures of mr softee cute? I like it alot. haha. I took it at AMK 711. Whenever I see it, I always end up smiling. Somehow it has the ability to make me smile. haha. Amazing. Hope it will have the same effect on you too.

Currently, I am very stress over my studies. This week I have Business Statistic test on wed and I have to submit my Organisational Behavior Assignment on fri. Alamak. So many things. I have not started studying for my bs test yet. Soon, after this. Oh ya, you guys must be thinking Freda must be slacking during office hour right? haha. no la. I took half day leave to study for my test. I have not been sleeping well these days due to the worry I have on my studies. haha. Hopefully I will have a good sleep after friday, where all the drama ends. haha. People, don't worry about. I am alright and will be alright. haha.

For those people who are taking their Os this year, please take good care of your health to sustain till the end of all your papers. No matter how tough it will be, you got to make it and give God His deserved glory. Amen? If you fall, stand up stong and continue this journey. And also, the whole church will be praying along side with you. Always remember, you will never be alone, God is with you at all times and we are there to give you our support!!! May God bless you all, my brothers and sisters. Hope this message will be an encouragement to you. :)

For working adults, do remember to have your daily Qiuet Time ya? As i started working, I can undersand how tiring and boring it is after work, it seems like the whole day is gone. No life. We tend to do other things such as watching movies, television shows and shopping, but we seldom spend time with God. Don't you know He is waiting for you? A relationship without communication will not last. So set a specific time and meet HIM everyday!!!

May your heart find peace and comfort in knowledge that you are never alone. God is your stronghold, and with Him as your guide, you will never be afraid. Cast all your cares on Him... and BELIEVE.

Hi my deary lovey friends!!! Its another weekend that I have been looking forward too since monday!!! haha. Ever since I started working, my lifestyle had since changed. I started sleeping at 12+ am. Its really amazing because I usually sleep after 2 or 3 am in the morning in the past. Improvement right??? haha. I will look younger from now. haha.

I really need the energy for work, if not I will look like zombie at work. How can a pretty princess become a zombie right??? haha. I wanna give my very best in the tasks that were given to me so that I will be able to leave a good inpression in my boss and colleagues. haha. So after my 3 months probation, they might give me an increment. God knows. haha. I do things for a reason ya. hehe.

This week, I listened to christian songs during my Quiet Time. The songs really moved me, especially the song HOLY. Truly, Truly, only God can replace all the emptiness in me. I felt His awesome presence greatly. I wanna use my life to serve HIM and HIM only, because only God deserves my very best. haha. So my question is do you know what is your very best??? to me, there is no ending in being your very best, because there is always a level higher than your level of best. So always improve yourself and give God what he deserve of you. haha.

Today, I will be leading the song Holy for altar call. This is my very first try, I am afraid but God is with me yeah? haha. Give me your blessings folks!! See you!! :)

Today is a good day though we start off the day with heavy rain in the north area. I am currently working right now and having my po lo bao and 2 tao sa piah for lunch today. Finally, I feel full for lunch for the first. haha. For those who don understand, I used to complain I am hungry for lunch everytime, because I am tooooooooooooo shy to go out for lunch with my colleagues(99% males). haha.

I am getting clearer of what I am needed to do in my workplace already!!! haha. Praise God!! Am I Clever or Am I Clever??? I think the answer is obvious. haha. Please don puke people. hehe. Anyway, still have another half a day to go. Hopefully there will be lots of things to do so that the time seems to fly faster. haha. All the best people!! See you guys soon!! :)

Enjoying Life with YOU is all I ask for...

It had been a good week for me I would say. Though I am still adapting myself to the new environment and finding ways to convince myself to enjoy the new workload but I definitely know that this is what God had planned for me. So no matter how tough it will be, I WILL SURVIVE.

At my workplace, I am still trying to get the feel of my jobscope and trying to remember the names of my colleagues. There are really many guys of the same kind that makes me blurrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!! You can imagine my blur-ness right? haha. I have not been going for lunch for wed & thur but on friday my colleague packet for me because it was raining heavily. I told him to help me buy mixed vegetables rice and he asked me if I have any preference, obviously being paiseh already, I told him no, anything would be fine. And when he came back, thank goodness, all the ingredients are my favourites. sweet and sour pork,vegetables and a sunny side up egg. Its only for $2.50. So cheap right. haha. ok, nothing happened much after that la.

After work, I went to school for lesson and on my last bus 855 to school( in total, I got to take 3 buses to get to school ), I missed a stop because I slept thoughout the journey haha. But actually when I woke up, I was already at my destinated bus stop, but I was too blur and the door was closed already. I was too paiseh to ask bus captain to open again. haha. So I ended up walking down a stretch of path along the road. haha.

Finally in school. I enjoyed my OB lecture. My lecturer never fails to make me laugh in his lecture. He is a very intellecture and knowledgeable lecturer. He has a very broad knowledge base so his jokes are testing your intellect too. haha. I learnt alot of the world through him. haha. He showed us some encourgaging slides before the start of the lesson and I asked him go send me an email. haha. He was kind enough to have agreed. haha.

Then,I ended my day having a filet-o-fish for supper. haha.

Today is my first day of work!!! But before I tell you more about my work environment, let me tell you wat happened on my way to work. haha.

I work up at 7.15am this morning and happily ate my breakfast before I go to work. And little do I know, I walked out of my house without bringing cash out!!! My gosh! How am I going to eat my lunch with my colleagues??? But anyway, I still went ahead despite that. Then, I took bus 159 to my workplace. It was only a 5-10mins journey ride to work!!!! So fast right? but you know what? I stopped 2 stops earlier. Alamak!!! But I ended up seeing an atm nearby. haha
Then again, I happily walk towards the atm and withdraw $20. But I walk away after keeping my card! I had forgotten to collect my money!!!! I only remember I forgotten to collect when I am about to reach my workplace. But it was impossible for me to walk back that loooooooong distance and then walk to workplace again right. I just cant believe it!!! Am I really that clumsy??? And to make things worse, I was wearing my new heels, it was really hurting me. I had blisters all around my front feet. And i got to paste so many awful plasters on it. haiz.

Finally I reached my workplace. Inside of me was like half-dead, but obviously I never show out la. Because I am tired of all the walking and fed up with myself for being clumsy and I still got to suffer from the pain of my feet!

Soon, my In-Charge brought me around the office to introduce myself to other colleagues. There are only 3 females including me!!! The rest are males. I am the youngest, prettiest, and most special individual there. And my dress code is casual. I can even wear sandles, sport shoes and jeans to work! I going to do that tomorro. haha.

Okay, actually I am working in Akribis System Pte Ltd. Its a manufacturing company. Its a new company in this line for only a year+. So actually, I am learning with the company. I am the new sales administrator there helping out with the Purchase orders, Delivery orders, Tax invoices and etc in the future. I felt a sense of belonging there because they prepared a table for me, my email address is created and my desktop login name was already changed to freda before I came in. And also, an welcoming email was sent to everyone in the office early in the morning to inform all that I was joining the board. I was glad even though their system is a bit messy. And I am willing to contribute to this small but expanding company.

Because I had no money to eat for lunch, I stayed back in my office. Then later in the afternoon, knowing that I did not have lunch, my IC asked me to leave early for lesson to have my dinner at 5pm. But I told her I can leave at 5.30pm. It was so kind of her!

I thank God for giving me this job that I can learn from scratch and giving me a boss and In-Charge that are understanding and help towards my learning. :)

Hey guys!!! I just wanna share a good news with all of you. I found a job!!! On monday morning around 10+am, I received a call from the company and they ask me to start work this wednesday!! Actually, last saturday after service, on our way to the wedding dinner, Jason told me that he felt that on Monday, someone will get a job confirmation. I believed him and indeed i received a call on Monday. Immediately I knew it was from God.

I am really happy about it but at the same time afraid. Now, I got to really cope between work and studies. Haha. But I am sure I can do it. ! Agree? Really cant wait to receive my first pay and to pay off my debts to my debtors. Haha.

Just wanna say thanks to all who had prayed for me. Thanks again. Your kindness is much appreciated. :)

On saturday, I attended another wedding dinner with my family members. Oh my goodness. The dishes were almost the same as the previous dinner that we attended the other time. You know why, its because its the same restaurant! haha. Its again another couple which I don't know. To me, its purely just a dinner and spending family time with my family members. Finally, I saw my 2nd SISTER!!! I missed her so much!!!!! It had been 2 - 3 months since I last saw her. Nothing much change, she is just as humourous as she is. haha. We had lots of leftovers because we were all sick of the food but we have not fill out stomach to the max yet. so ironic right! haha. Just wanna say i enjoyed myself really really much. :)

Enjoying Life with YOU is all I ask for...

Hi people!!! It had been a long time since I last blogged. haha I am back. Well. The Ignite Camp was great. Seeing many people touched and encountered God's presence really reassure me for being a Christian. God is really real ya! haha.

One thing that I had learned about the camp was COMMUNICATIONS. Whether with People or with the HOLY SPIRIT, its the X-FACTOR in building a relationship. I really got to know my cell members better during the camp. Though they have been in church for quite sometime, I spend very little time with them. Whenever I see them in Church, what I do was only asking those surface questions like "How are you recently?", "Have you eaten?" etc. but the answers I got back was typical, such as ya fine, Thanks. Then I ask myself, If someone out of nowhere, someone whom I am not close or someone who only speaks to me once a week ask me those questions, I would jolly well answer back the same.

Through the camp, we had little gatherings during our devotions. We share how we felt, good and bad, past and present. Everyone got to understand each other struggles that each and everyone are facing then. We shared how we felt God's presence and how He had changed our life. This kind of sharing is what I have been yearning for a long long long time. Though initially we kept some things to ourselves but in the end, we still pour out to our friends around us. At least for me, I enjoyed that very moment. I felt I am not alone. I also wanna take this opportunity to thank my team members for making it happened! You guys are really great!

As with the HOLY SPIRIT, I learnt that He is a person and we should treat Him just like our friend. But as for Him, HE will take over the BEST FRIEND position in my heart. Forever. Haha.

Now, after the camp, I am back to search for jobs again. This process is really long and discouraging. However, I believe God will provide me with what I need. haha. So to those people who are on the same boat as me, Have Faith in God!

Business Statistic test is round the corner, I really got to buck up and score that 20 marks. haha. I WILL DO IT! :)

Enjoying Life with YOU is all I ask for...

Yesterday, I saw an elderly couple having their tea break in mcdonalds. They are around the age of 70+ I guess. They were having a large fries and a cup of lipton tea. It was very unusual of such scene because most elderly usually don't eat fast food right? So as I was queuing to get my ice lemon tea, I observed them eating.

Amazingly, the uncle was tearing off the ends of each fench fry for his wife and himself. I guess the ends are too hard for them to bite, thats why. Out of a sudden, I felt so touched by them. Most couples are not that lovely already at the at of 40+ but they had make an exception. At that moment, I was wondering will that happen to me too. haha. As I went back to my seat, I shared this with Chu Ting and Qiu Ling who were waiting for me and they were amazed too.

After the elderly couple finished their food, we followed them because I wanted to take a photo of them. The uncle was holding the auntie's hand. Oh so lovely right! The uncle was actually hunched back and carring a very big bag on his back, and the auntie offer to carry it for him. oh... I was really touched. Now then I know there are people like them in Singapore.

Some people might be discouraged by those cases of divorce but you will never know that one day your marriage will be like the elderly couple. At least for me, I am confident of it. :)
