Interview!!!
I cant believe I will be going for an interview with DFS Venture Singapore (Pte) Ltd. Woohoo!! haha. Its really God's blessing. I just sent my resume yesterday, and prayed for openings last night, and today they called!!! This position is actually Merchandising Assistant. It's jobscope is totally different from what I am doing, basically I do not have the experience or merchandising certification for this position. And at the moment when I sent my resume over, it was just simply testing and trying. I din expect them to call me or arrange an interview with me. So, it's really a blessing from God! Who am I to deserve such a surprise and gift from Him? haha.
Well, upon seheduling the appointment with them, the next thing I did was to look up on the Company's Website. It's in the business of world's leading luxury retailer!!! It's an MNC and working location is at Orchard. Their employee's benefits are fantastic!!! And what's more, its challenging and have room for advancement. I will definitely learn and experience a tremendous change in my career!!! haha. I am really excited. But, of cos, as usual, I will not be the only candidate. And, its really not easy to get in.
Somehow, I am struggling with fear. Fear of rejection from companies. I rememebered the last interview with HP was really unforgettable. I was pin down to the ground. The moment I got out of the company, tears really flow like water tap. And I am really afraid that they would give me on spot checking of skills. Like giving you a lappy and you are expected to do up an excel sheet out of their requirements. Goodness. haiz. But I know, whether successful or not, every interview is an experience. And at least, I am given an opportunity to get interview by an MNC! That's already a confirmation that I have the calibre. haha. Well, I believe God will have His way in me. All I have to do, is to be confident, and go in the Name of Jesus Christ! Yeah. I believe the Holy Spirit will guide me in my speech and He will lead me to Victory!I have an attiude of Christ!! That's what most of the candidates do not have. haha. Do pray for me guys, for a calm heart, and that the interviewers will find favor in me. haha.
So, I have to take another half day leave tomorrow. alamak. But no choice. if they have to deduct in exchange of a brighter future, that's worth it! haha. Another good news to share, I got my payslip today!! Remembered that I told you I am eligible for unpaid leave yesterday? I already taken 1.5 days of unpaid leave in the month of Feb. And, I was told by my colleagues that there are chances that my pay will get deducted this end month. But, when I opened up my payslip, there is no deductions!! Praise God!! Haha. ALso, this morning, my customer requested that my Sales Engineer to bring me to their Office tml!! Yeah. Which means I will come for work at 1.15pm( after 0.5 day leave), and leave for customer's place at 2.30pm and I can go off from there. There is no need to come back to the office!! Yeah. Coming for work for only 1hr 15mins. haha. My customer's place is at Upp Thomson, near church, so it will only be a short journey home. haha!!! Tml will be exciting! Will update you guys again!
