Enjoying Life with YOU is all I ask for...
It bled again...

The influenza that I am having in Oct and Nov was quite bad. I remembered last month I blogged on nose bleeding. This time round I am still blogging on nose bleeding. I am having sore throat these few days, then followed by flu. I kept blowing my nose so many times and hard that I think the vessels ruptures. That is true man. I went do some research on what causes nose bleed. Please see below.

What is a nose bleed?

The nose has a hard, bony part and a soft part. A nose bleed occurs when one or more of the delicate blood vessels at the outer end of the soft part ruptures.

Common causes of nose bleeds

- Blowing, picking or rubbing the nose and sneezing too frequently. Injury to the
nose eg. a hard knock.
- Breathing very dry air.
- Nasal or sinus infection that make the nasal mucous membrane more fragile.
- Dilated blood vessels (eg. in alcoholics) in the nose, which is more prone to bleeding.
- Certain drugs (eg. anticoagulants, aspirin) which make cause spontaneous bleeding.

What you can do

- Sit down and lean forward.
- Pinch the lower part of the nostrils just below the bony part for 10 minutes while breathing through the mouth.
- Release the nostrils slowly. If the bleeding continues, repeat the procedure.
- After the bleeding has stopped, do not touch or blow the nose for about four hours.
- Do not pack the affected nostril with gauze or cotton.
- Go to the A&E Department of the nearest hospital if the nose bleed cannot be stopped after 20 minutes.
- Consult a doctor if the nose bleed recurs frequently, especially if you have symptoms such as ear block or small swellings at the neck.

Ok. done with my research. haha. Pauline, Don't worry, my nose bleed is not caused by my medication. Most likely caused by blowing of nose. Cos, it always starts to bleed after I blow my nose. haha.

Ok, shall not talk abt bleeding again, I bled yesterday and today!!!! Bloody. Losing blood man. Needs some pig liver. haha. Joking. I won't eat that, over my dead body. haha.

I will be super duper busy from the time I knock off today to tomorro 2359. Well, I will be meeting my secondary school friends after work today!! I am excited about it as we have not met since we left SJC. haha. And tomorrow, I need to reach church by 6.30 to do some printing, then meet Pastor at 8.15am , then meeting, then discipleship x3, then service, announcement, dinner, fellowship. Wow. BUSY rite? Thus, I need to take a good rest tonight as I have not recovered, if not you shall hear croaking singing tomorrow. haha. Joking. I will sing my best la. No worries. STILL AS BEAUTIFUL AS B4. haha :)

Though I am busy, but statisfying. Sunday will be a super REST day for me. DUN CALL ME PPL!!! Haha. Need to sleep sleep sleep. Will wake up when the time is right. haha. Siao.

The sky is still as dark as the day before. and waiting to knock off 1hr later. hhaa. I want shopping!!! Random. haha.
